My Question: What are my options for electric suppliers in Maryland and will there be a choice once de-regulation occurs?
I have been solicited by other power companies to undercut the rate increase. These phone calls and faxes are either guaranteed fixed rates or a percentage off whatever BGE’s default supplier prices will be. What will be the result if other companies actually start price competition in MD?
Excellent question – wasn’t it just a year or so ago we were all being courted by as many as five alternative electricity suppliers? Where are they now?
